The iPowerBuddy application offers a comprehensive and sophisticated tool for managing Powerball lottery participation on your iPhone or iPod. Designed to assist users in generating, verifying, and sharing numbers, it provides a streamlined approach to handling multiple tickets, whether played individually or within a group setting.

Version 2.0 has been upgraded to accommodate the latest Powerball format: drawing five numbers from 1 to 69, along with a single Powerball number from 1 to 26. This ensures compatibility with the current lottery structure.

The app's interface is organized into four intuitive tabs, each delivering specific functionalities:

• Power Ball tab: Enables random number generation or manual selection through a picker interface. Users can save generated sequences into a personal history database and manage entries by deleting undesired sets.
• Buddies tab: Facilitates the creation of a contacts list of participating individuals, derived from the device’s Contact App. A valid email address is required for each buddy to enable communication and sharing.
• Mail tab: Allows users to efficiently send selected or generated numbers from the history database to all listed buddies with a single tap. Recipients with the app installed can seamlessly import these numbers into their own history database for verification and record-keeping.
• Winners tab: Provides access to the latest 52 winning draws, covering a period of up to 180 days—helpful for claim purposes. Users can select specific draws to compare against their stored numbers, with winning numbers highlighted in green and non-winning in red for quick visual assessment—particularly beneficial when managing large volumes of entries.
